Car Crazy Canada’s Best Round Table

1
With voting for the 2013 Car Crazy Canada's Best competition coming to a close this Sunday the Meguiar's crew and myself thought it would be interesting to have a bit of a round table discussion about who we think is going to Vegas for SEMA 2013. I've always liked the idea of round table articles and I'm very happy that each of these people took some time out of their busy day to sit down and write a few words.

WTF Friday: Not quite a barrel of monkeys

1
In life it's important to learn from your mistakes so before I get any further in this post let me state that this is not an attack against Rotiform. I've never talked to anyone at Rotiform nor dealt with then in any way shape or form so I have no axe to grind. They have a strong standing in the aggressive fitment community and I'm a fan of more than one of their designs so I have no slanderous intent.

Theme Tuesdays: Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon

5
I must be feeling a little nostalgic with the next Fast & The Furious around the corner because it occurred to me the other night that I've never done a Theme Tuesday on the Mitsubishi Eclipse (Eagle Talon) before. In my opinion the first two generations are the best looking so they make up the bulk of today's post but a fourth generation did manage to squeak in there.

Theme Tuesdays: Burnouts

0
I like to believe there are at least two universal truths among car enthusiasts. The first is that everyone loves the e30 m3, and the second is that everybody likes a good burnout. Personally I love a good burnout and while I agree they have their time and place (leaving a meet is neither the time nor the place), I wouldn't be opposed to seeing more tires evaporate into clouds of smoke this year.

Event Coverage: The 2013 Canadian International Autoshow: Pt. 1

0
The Canadian International Autoshow  celebrates 40 years of operation this year which makes me wonder how many I've attended throughout the years. Though the number is likely  less than half I can remember as a child, attending the show with my dad, running from car to car for a  chance go get in the drivers seat and pretend to drive.

WTF Friday: Big Cat Small Track

4
At the third round of CSCS in 2011 I witnessed a pair of British drivers whipping a Jaguar XJ around the road course.   Watching the big cat rip corners I couldn't help but smile at the fact that you can literally race anything you want provided you are either a) stubborn enough b) smart enough c) crazy enough or d) rich enough or e) all of the above.

Photo Year In Review 2012 – The Events

2
At this point I've trashed three separate year in review drafts trying to figure out the best way to tackle the amount of content that has accumulated over the past 361 days. After hemming and hawing about formats I've decided that the best way to recap is with a lot of photos and minimal words.

Theme Tuesdays: Lexus GS/ Toyota Aristo

0
I've started and stopped this Theme Tuesday probably over ten times no with each attempt getting derailed due to my automotive attention deficit disorder. To help get things on track I asked Ollie for some help and together we were able to get this one done.

Clint Jolly Green

8
Sometime in May I tweeted a photo of my Canon on a tripod in front of my car and @ClintJollyGreen was one of the first to ask when those photos would be posted. My car isn't exactly top priority around here so my reply was simply "soon".

Theme Tuesdays: Acura RSX Part II

1
It's been awhile since the last RSX Theme Tuesday (so long I actually forgot I ever posted it) so it's time to give the DC5 chassis another kick at the can. One thing I realized while doing this post is that RSX owners really, really like RPF-1s.
