WTF Friday: So These Are A Thing?
Mid week long time reader Clint Jolly Green sent me a photo of a Pontiac Fiero that had been converted into a two seater trike. Shocked and intrigued I foolishly set forth looking for more info on what I assumed to be a one off creation.
I was wrong, it was far from the only one in existence and many a 'resourceful' gear head have in fact transformed a Fiero from a four wheeled vehicle into one with only three.
Event Coverage: 2013 CSCS Beach Burnout – Part 2.
Going to finish up the 2013 CSCS Beach Burnout coverage before moving on to what will be an onslaught of coverage from Eurokracy 2013.
Today's coverage is made up of the photos I took while not on the track or hiding in the shade from the heat.
WTF Friday: 160mph Compressed Air Dragster
While looking into a photo of another crazy dragster from the 60's I stumbled across this 'compressed air' dragster built by Honeywell (then Garret and shortly after AlliedSignal).
It was powered by three 35 pound turbine engines that put out 750 pounds of torque a piece.
Event Coverage: Stretch & Poke! Presents Fitted Lifestyle 2013 – Part 2
Back with part two of the coverage from this years wildly successful Fitted Lifestyle Event presented by Stretch & Poke! Today's coverage actually has more photos than part one and to be completely honest there are still vehicles missing that I know I should have shot.Back with part two of the coverage from this years wildly successful Fitted Lifestyle Event presented by Stretch & Poke! After a few laps I decided to forgo taking photos and instead just hang out with the awesome group of people who made it out.
However eventually I coincided defeat in the fact that I couldn't capture everything and just hung out with the awesome group of people who made it out.

Photo Year In Review 2012 – The Events
At this point I've trashed three separate year in review drafts trying to figure out the best way to tackle the amount of content that has accumulated over the past 361 days.
After hemming and hawing about formats I've decided that the best way to recap is with a lot of photos and minimal words.
Event Coverage: Euronited
Starting a new show or event is never an easy task. With so many other events taking place in our relativley short season it's nearly impossible to schedule something that is not on the same day as at least one other event.
Never mind choosing a venue, enticing vendors, and getting participants and spectators to come out.
WTF Friday: Turn down the suck
To most people putting a big blown motor into a Chevy Corvair doesn't make a whole lot of sense (considering it was included in the book "Unsafe At Any Speed") but to at least one builder in the 70s it made perfect sense.
Presumably using the logic that if you have to steer a whole lot in a quarter mile you are probably already in trouble Richard Guess stuffed a blown 327 in the his '72.
This.
Following up a post like the one I made on Friday with a car that wasn't straight, to the point, and uber clean just wouldn't be right so here are some new(er) photos of an e30 I first posted April of 2011.
Not much has changed since then but honestly nothing really needs to.
