Theme Tuesdays: Borbet Type A Appreciation
With their chunky twist on the classic five spoke the Borbet Type A is a wheel that people love as much as they hate.
Personally it took me a long time to warm up to the raised center caps, but after pulling this post together I realized that like everything else it all comes down to sizing and application.
Guest Blog: Theme Tuesdays: Air Bag Love Pt. 2
One of the most unnecessary arguments in the automotive community, in my opinion, is the static vs air debate.
I just don't get it, people should get down how they want to get down and that should be the end of it.
Theme Tuesdays: Turbo Dodge
Ok Mopar fans you can ease up on the hate encouraging emails because I am finally doing the 'turbo dodge' Theme Tuesday many of you have requested.
While Dodge has a habit of turbo charging random vehicles their owners are generally not down to to put them on the ground.
Theme Tuesdays: I Like Mine With No Shine – part 2
2010.
That post was made up of mostly black cars and with a couple cars switched out it could have easily passed for a 'murdered out' Theme Tuesday.
This go round I took a little more time picking out the cars to include and pulled together a wider variety of cars including modern, euro, and the cars mysteriously missing from the last post, classics.
Theme Tuesdays: VW Harlequin’s Part II
In trying to keep some variety in the Theme Tuesdays (and posts in general) I decided to keep the import and American Theme Tuesdays on the hard drive this week and do something else.
Originally the plan was to finalize the Type A Theme Tuesday but after stumbling across the first Harlequin in today's post that was put on the back burner.
I never expected this theme to make it to a second round but I'm glad it did.
Theme Tuesdays: Women And Cars Part 2
Time again to do a pretty straight forward Theme Tuesday post, the kind you could find on any other blog.
Sorry this is not as creative as some of the previous ones. I'm not even sure you guys will like it....
/sarcasm
Warning: Potentially NSFW unless maybe you work at the Brass Rail or just DGAF.
Theme Tuesdays: Wagovans
Do you think when Honda designed the Wagovan they expected it to be as popular as they are now?
Maybe popular isn't the right word but they certainly have amassed a dedicated group of followers.
To be honest I never saw much potential in the Wagovan until sometime early 2000 when the second to last one in today's post came along and opened my eyes to what could be with this unique, incredibly boxy, vehicle.
Theme Tuesdays: Vette Wheels
Today's Theme Tuesday is a direct result of a suggestion from the fanpage, if you ever have something you want to see don't be scared to throw out an idea.
I usually get started right away so I don't forget.
The use of Vette wheels seems to have slowed down some from late 2009 and 2010 but they still mange to show up in some of the darnedest places.
Theme Tuesdays: Classy Car Models Part 4
At the last round of CSCS Danny from Street Concepts was wearing a T-shirt that said "Say No To Recession Models" in addition to making me laugh this shirt made me realize it's been awhile since I have done a 'Classy Car Model' Theme Tuesday.
As always pulling together this group took quite sometime because the trend for most car models (specifically import) is still to wear as little clothes as possible so everyone can see your high points and your low points.
Theme Tuesdays: H20 International favorites
I've been told several times that H20i is an event I need to attend at least once. This year Mike and Jay from Stance Factory offered me a spot where they were staying for weekend and had it not been for some good friends of mine getting married I would have been there enjoying the festivities.
However friends/family > cars so like Wekfest and Waterfest I've pulled together some photos that stood out to me in the hour or so I spent last night looking through coverage on various forums.
