Berlin Klassik is one of those shows I’ve always heard great things about, but have historically never been able to attend either due to other events or personal obligations. This year had to be different so I sliced a few hours out of my schedule to check out their fourth annual event.
Held at the spacious Bingeman’s park in Kitchener ‘Klassik was a great day out in the sun surrounded by a well rounded variety of the finest European cars in the area.
The relaxed atmosphere, fueled by a DJ that spun almost exclusively 90s hip hop, really drove home the fact that Berlin Klassik is a show that I need to attend for the entire duration next year.
Luke was repping with the rest of the air cooled community
It’s truly amazing how well kept all of these aircooled vehicles were
The little super charger on this Beetle had many eagerly waiting to see what it would put down on the dyno
The little charger spun it’s way to 57.hp to the wheels with 100 foot pounds of torque… roughly double the original output according to the builder
Another interesting aircooled was this Puma, A kit/option of sorts it was built on the Ghia pan and overall a pretty cool car to look at.
There were a number of awesome Porsches at the show but the Speedsters really drew me in
This one was in particular was quite the gem
There wasn’t a spot on this car
Every inch of this car was perfect and full of detail that isn’t found in most cars today
Clean e28 on multi piece Hartge wheels
…with a little M power
Randy Sparre’s e46 looking great on the not so common BC Racing Forged wheels
What would a Euro show be without an e30 or two?
The Eurokracy/Air Society Crew made the trek from Montreal
Fairly impressed how well this turned out to be honest
One of the several things the Vag community has going for it is clean trunk installs
At first glance I thought these were Rotiform INDs but they are actually extremely similar ESM wheels
I believe ‘ET perfect’ is the expression the kids are using these days
Gorgeous color on this car I think it’s Sepang Bronze or something very similar…
This GTI has such a timeless look to it, great build that could be left alone forever
Last I saw this Caddy it was greenish and in much worse shape, props to the owner on the restoration
This car sounded mean as all hell and put down a very respectable 448hp on the dyno
Chop Shop’s R32 put down 495 HP at 13psi untuned
Always find myself taking several photos of this Scirocco…
This Reiger wide body Golf was pretty unique
It had a TT motor under the hood with (I’m told) an awd setup as well
It also had the TT dash… which was unexpected
This Jetta was sporting one of those 1/4 hoods that seem to (currently) only be popular among the Euro crowd
All four corners of this car were very clean and it had a very nice ICE and management setup. Very through build
it’s e12 on those Hartge wheels not e28 😉
